
John represents clients in all aspects of motion picture financing, productionand distribution, including motion picture producers, directors, writers,actors and broadcast networks. In addition to Sloss Eckhouse Dasti HaynesLawCo, he is the founder of Cinetic Media, through which he has facilitatedthe sale and/or financing of well over 300 films. Prior to founding Sloss LawOffice in 1993, John was a partner at the international law firm Morrison &Foerster. John lectures extensively on the subject of global entertainmentfinance, as well as a variety of other media and entertainment-relatedmatters. He is an adjunct professor in the Graduate film program at New YorkUniversity's Tisch School of the Arts and an Entrepreneur in Residence atHarvard Business School. John is a graduate of the University of Michigan (BA,1978, high distinction) and the University of Michigan School of Law (JD,1981).

Jackie has been the managing partner of the firm since 2009. Her practicefocuses on motion picture, television and new media contract negotiation, inboth the independent and Hollywood spaces. She represents award-winningfeature and documentary filmmakers, television creators, on-camera talent,writers, producers, production companies and financiers. She also representsbrands and handles endorsement and sponsorship deals. Jackie has beenrecognized in Variety’s Legal Impact Report and Variety’s NY Women Impact onthe Entertainment Industry, and as a NY Super Lawyer. Prior to joining SlossEckhouse Dasti Haynes LawCo, Jackie was an associate with Brown & Wood, whereshe practiced corporate securities law, and then with Frankfurt, Garbus, Klein& Selz, where she focused on entertainment law. Jackie is a graduate ofBrandeis University (BA, 1993, magna cum laude) and Benjamin N. Cardozo Schoolof Law (JD, 1996).

Jerry joined the firm in 2007, becoming a partner in 2012. Jerry’s clientsinclude established and emerging directors, writers, and producers, who workin all in all facets of the film, television and digital media industry,including narrative/scripted, documentary and animated projects. He also hasextensive experience representing production companies in all aspects ofdevelopment, financing, production, and distribution, helping shepherd theirprojects from inception through release. Prior to joining Sloss Eckhouse DastiHaynes LawCo, Jerry was an associate at Proskauer Rose LLP, where his practicefocused on entertainment industry and intellectual property litigation. Jerryis a graduate of American University (BA, 1997, magna cum laude) and New YorkUniversity School of Law (JD, 2002), where he was an Executive Editor of theNYU Law Review.

Bethany is a Partner at the firm, and her practice primarily focuses onnarrative and documentary film, television, podcasting and interactive mediatransactions and talent representation, and she has wide-ranging experience inadvising clients on all aspects of their projects. Her clients includeemerging and established screenwriters and directors as well as producers,financiers, authors, animators, podcast creators and VR/AR creators. Bethanyalso acts as outside business affairs for high-level production companies,structuring and negotiating all forms of development, rights-acquisition,production, financing and licensing/distribution deals. She has also worked ona wide range of high profile and award-winning productions, both scripted andunscripted. Bethany has been recognized in Variety’s “Up Next” list of theLegal Impact Report and is a frequent speaker on issues relating to film,television and virtual reality. Prior to joining Sloss Eckhouse Dasti HaynesLawCo, Bethany was an associate in the capital markets department at Skadden,Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP. Bethany is a graduate of Bryn Mawr Collegeand the University of Chicago Law School.

Jaime is a Partner at Sloss Eckhouse Dasti Haynes LawCo LLP. Jaime's practiceis focused on the representation of recording and performing artists, rangingfrom independent artists to major label artists, music producers andsongwriters, as well as film and tv composers, music publishers and digitalmedia companies. Jaime has significant experience negotiating a wide varietyof agreements, including recording and music publishing, management, licensingand branding, merchandising, sponsorship, touring, as well as advising clientson music-related copyright and trademark issues. Her clients includeGrammy-nominated artists, up-and-coming artists and bands, songwriters,composers, music producers and mixers, music publishers and managers. Prior tojoining the firm, Jaime was an associate in the entertainment department atDreier LLP. She is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania (BA, 2001,cumlaude) and Brooklyn Law School (JD, 2005). She is a member of theentertainment division of the New York State Bar Association, as well as thenationwide organization Women In Music.
